Well, here I am again writing a fresh new blog on a beautiful evening in Amstetten, Austria, a rather famous town due to a certain man named Fritzl!!  But crazy psychopaths aside….life here is good! Though my stay here was unexpected to say the least!
So the few months go something like this!…

”Boyband the Musical”,  is currently on holiday for the summer, as are all productions in Slovakia. However, life has a funny way of always coming up with some surprises…and just as I was ready to face a summer off the stage…a miracle happened and I got a part in the German production of ”The Full Monty”, a musical about a group of desperate unemployed guys who resort to stripping to earn some cash!

I play a professional stripper …yes, you heard it right … I am playing a stripper! After I had put aside a few personal inihibitions (!!),  I am now having a blast with the role and appreciating being able to perform and do what I love all summer, in a beautiful town here in Austria. As an added bonus I also get to play alongside my fiance Abbie, who also has a great part in the show as Estelle!

I have also been so lucky do do some fantastic and heartwarming concerts around Slovakia. A particularly special experience was singing in the Children’s Hospital in Bratislava. It was a very inspiring and moving to see such sick children with such big smiles on their faces. I felt very lucky to bring some sunshine into their difficult lives and wish all the children i met good health and happiness for their futures.

My Fiance and I also moved flat…YES AGAIN!! But this one is a little bit special and am so thankful to the people who helped me to live in such a fantastic part of Bratislava!

I also, on another note, got invited by Jean Paul Gaultier to be in his fashionshow in Milan Italy. This was which an experience all in itself… check out the pics!!

My Brother got married this month in Indonesia … CONGRATS!!
Unfortunately I couldn’t be there as we had the premiere of ”The Full Monty”, but we will no doubt be celebrating with him soon!!

So despite all the busy goings on I managed to squeeze in a chance to see one of my idols in concert in Vienna…Paolo Nutini in Vienna. Big Thumbs up for New Shoes and loved the Wien Arena…hope to play there one day in the future!

When not doing shows there’s lots of song-writing going on too!  What with the sunny days and beautiful evenings am finding a lot of inspiration in life!

So on the starry side of life..went to my first celeb premiere of ”Knight and Day”, in Bratislava … Am now determined to become the next Tom Cruise of Slovakia! And sure my fiance will make a great Cameron Diaz!

As for the future well…many exciting things to come!

A Boyband Tour through Slovakia in September.

Great news, after we finish ”The Full Monty” in Austria, my fiance will also be joining me in the cast of ”Boyband the Musical”, as a dancer!

We also do another run of ”’The Full Monty”, and will be playing for 2 weeks in Munich, Germany in October

Most importantly for me…my single is finished!! Hooray!! So watch out world…here I come! Official release will follow ….

I begin my next blog as I sit down with a nice cup of chai tea! Well deserved I think after what has been another crazy whirlwind few months!

The Spring of 2010 has been packed with many Concerts, TV appearances, Radio shows, Boyband Musical performances, photo-shoots, creating my new single….to sum it all up….promotion promotion promotion! But the feedback has been amazing!

It all kicked off I guess with ‘Miss Czech 2010′ beauty competition. This was such a great gig -  I sang ”All for Love” by Bryan Adams, as well as a bit of Sting and Rod Stewart. You can check me and the guys out on the video in the media link

Also with BoyBand we sang on the Miss Slovak 2010 with the song ‘I’ll never break your heart’.

On the 10th of April we had our premiere of ‘Boyband The Musical’, which was a blast. The writer of the original show in London was there; Peter Quilter. He was such a great great guy and we got on so well! Not many people spoke English so we went out for dinner (as shown in photo)

and had many laughs over the first opening days of the musical, along with him and his partner Felix. Was truly an honour to meet such inspirational people.

Then there were all the radio interviews! Which meant many extremely early mornings too!!! But all good!
Funradio, Radio Express are two of the biggest stations here which I was lucky enough to be interviewed on.

Have also done many TV appearances, including – Telerano & LOVE (Markiza), Bez Servitky (Markiza) etc…

One of the highlights of the last few weeks  has to being chosen to be in ‘Celebrity Come Dine With Me”,  in Slovakia. Here we call it , ‘Bez Servitky’, and  it was truly GREAT!!! Very challenging but…….I WON, I WON!!!!!! HOORAY!!! I Served a traditional English roast diner with apple crumble as desert…. hmmmmmmm!!!!! Was rather good if I do say so myself!    The British fans would have been proud of my Yorkshire Puds!!! Check out the video here on the Markiza site!!

I also had a show in Lisbon for ”ARENA”. Had a blast and got very tanned ( hmmmm well burnt actually!!!)

My most recent promo was a shoot in an amazing health spa for ‘Star Magazine’, which is out next week. Had an amazing massage, hot tub and facial with my fiancee Abbie.

As for the future……In the next weeks and months I have many many concerts, festivals and TV shows in Slovakia so – keep an eye out on my SHOW link!

On the 31st of May I will have a TV singing appearance on ”SLOVENKA ROKA”, on STV in Slovakia!

To sum it up…..Life is good!

Finally……I have some spare time to write my blog.

I am writing this in Bratislava in a room in my brothers flat… how did I get here???… well lets turn back time to 3 months ago…

Its January, and another New Years Day!!!! Here goes 2010!!!! I have entered a casting for Boyband the Musical in Bratislava. The director contacted me through my website after watching Super Star!! I got through the first stages of the casting and got into the final selection which was nerve wrecking!! After a 12 hour casting day they decided to offer me one of the 5 main parts. I jumped and screamed for joy!!! My life at this moment turned upside down.

My fiancee in the meantime also got a job offer in Vienna, a 45 minute drive from Bratislava. Therefore, we decided to move our lives (and dog!!!) to Europe! We hired a van from London and drove to Bratislava with the little stuff we had. In 4days we drove 1966.1 miles… an unforgettable experience!!!

Work and gigs are going well in Slovakia and in the Czech Republik. I had a solo lconcert in Trnava / Slovakia where there were 2500 people in the audience!! Just incredible… here are a few pics….

WOW…..So a lot of amazing things have happened these last few months. Things I only could have dreamed of….

I have entered Cesko Slovenska Superstar 2009, and made to the final 12!!
Around 11900 people auditioned!!!! This was an amazing achievement for me and treasured every moment!
Thanks to all the people who voted! It was a truly amazing experience and has opened doors for me in the music industry which previously I could only  dream about.
For the new year I have many great new plans!! I can’t wait…so….bring on the music!!!!

I have spent many hours on the airplane between Bratislava and London!! Becoming a well known face at the airport!!

Facebook turned out to be an amazing tool and have won an huge amount of fans through it! I have realised the power of the internet!!
I never used facebook so much before in my life but now it is a part of my music-world and an amazing way to get in touch with my fans an fellow artists!!

Well I’ve not written a blog for a whole 2months so thought it was time to update you all on my recent news!!

Lost track of time as usual due to hectic working and song learning! But life is good and sure the path I am walking down will lead to enormous success and happiness! I have faith!

First of all I want to thank Steve Balsamo for a great gig with his band, ‘The Stories’, on the 25th of July in the Luminaire in London – it was amazing and such a unique night! The support band was also really impressive and my hat went off to those two guys on the guitars!

Meanwhile, I’ve got a few part time jobs here in London to pay the rent and support my music… us singer songwriters don’t have it always easy!!

I also have been traveling a lot – to visit my parents and brothers in Germany and Slovakia and spending a week in Austria too. Nice to get out of The City for a while!!

The gig in Austria was really cool in the ‘International Drachten Messe in Salzburg’. Here are some pictures – a little crazy adventure!!

To continue the craziness I also co-starred in the new video of Kate Bond as a human robot!!!…..life has a funny way!

I also have a really really exciting new project beginning in a week…its still confidential but I should be able to reveal the mystery soon…Its going to be a real adventure! Watch out for the next blog to hear more!

June and a bit of July has been packed with gigs, festivals, shows, holidays and song writing.

But time flies by and here I am writing already my next blog.

It all started playing a great gig @ the White Heart and the Lock 17 receiving great feedback from the audience.

The promoter from the Lock 17 asked me to open the Lockstock Festival in Camden on the 11.06.2009 which was an honor to play.

Travelled to Milan and Venice to perform for the clothing sport brand LOTTO and then travelled to Berlin to perform for MAC to open the Fashion week in Germany.

I have also travelled to Slovakia and have learned some new slovak songs.

I have been a bit of a gypsy…

travelling most of the month to far off places..including Zagreb (Croatia), Krakow (Poland) and Milan, where my music was received with a great response. Seeing these new cities also sparked a great deal of inspiration for me musically.

In Poland, I  visited Auschwitz Concentration Camp. This amazing journey really touched me, it was surreal being there and will affect how I look and write about life from now on.

My diary entry from the day went something like this!….

19.05.2009

‘‘ Today I visited the Concentration Camp in Auschwitz, the most gigantic cemetery in the world, a cemetery where there are no graves, no stones, but where the ashes of more than one million people lie – this should not happen again. ”

On a brighter more positive note!!!….

Dear Friends,

April has been really kind to me, (despite the London weather!!) But looking forward to a lovely sunny BBQ summer (according to the weather man!)

My experiences meeting and working with Joe Dworniak have been a true inspiration to me. The opportunity to work and collaborate with such an experienced and talented producer is truly a gift. I was able to take my vocals, songwriting and music to the next level. I learnt so many new ways of writing and creating a song.

Will be embarking more sessions with him in the future which I am really looking forward to….more amazing tracks to follow!!

I have also recorded a new electro pop video with Royskopp and Robyn. I featured as a co artist in their latest video – ‘The Girl And The Robot’. The song will be released in May or June so keep an eye and ear out!!!

Also a live interview will take place on E4 on the ”Freshly Squeezed” show.

I will also be performing live in Krakow/Poland this month in some live shows….my European fans await!

Again, a big thank you to all the promoters who invited me to play in their venues across London…have had some incredible gigs this month!

Will be playing again in ”The Stag” in Hampstead Heathy….really nice.

I very much enjoyed my gig in ”LOCK 17” Camden, and will be playing there again on the 25th of May…. hope to see you all there!

Dear Friends,

First off all, a big thank you to all the promoters…

Its going to be another few weeks filled with some incredible gigs in some of London’s best music venues!

I will be playing in the ‘Lock 17′, Camden Town, on the 13th of April and the 25th of May…..both will be an evening of some incredible new music from both myself and other great artists.
